Troubleshooting PU

Q: I get the "The host of this game is running a different version." message when trying to connect in game, why?

A: The NFS PU version of you and the pit host do not match. If you installed the Official EA 3.5 nocd Patch or the Enhanced Edition 3.5 Patch and still get this error, open version.txt file from your NFS PU folder, modify it to 3.5 and save it.
