Joining a HS Race

Before explaining the joining process we must be sure you are set up for racing, so we need to check some things first:

1. Make sure you have added nfshs and iploungev4 to your firewall exceptions.
(If you need instructions for this, visit Configuration HS > Firewall Exceptions)

2. If you are under Windows VISTA or Windows 7 make sure you run IPLounge as Administrator.
(To do that, close IPLounge, right click on the IPLounge icon and select Run as administrator)

3. Scan and make sure you get no errors and you use NFS HS SP 4 version 1.69 or EP 4 version 1.69.
(To Scan, right click in the race box - just under Race Time - and select Scan)

If you checked all the three steps above, you're ready to race!

Here are the steps to join a race:

Step 1: Right click on a HS pit in the racing box and select Join Race. Need for Speed High Stakes will start automatically.
It is important that you wait until you see Status: Lobby before joining a HS pit.

Step 2: Select Connect Players....

Step 3: Select Network (TCP)....

Step 4: Select Join Game.

Step 5: Type the word iplounge as IP.

Step 6: Click Ok.
